An Opportunity of a Lifetime

Applying to Raymond A. Mason School of Business at College of William and Mary as MG James Wright Fellow wormed its way into my confidence.

Like many others, I decided early on that I wouldn’t attempt what I could not win. After all, my childhood predicted just that… poor black girl and from the wrong family and the wrong side of the tracks.

Years later, I channeled that energy into finding the light and being the light.

Overcoming adversity, blazing my own trails, and using those perceived failures to become the woman I am today.

Excited for this next season of life as I take the knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned at the Tribe to United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) in Fort Knox, KY!
