Institute for Defense and Business

March 2022, I was afforded a remarkable to attend the Industry Based Broadening: Logistics Program. IB2 Log is an executive development program serving the commanders, senior enlisted and senior civilian leaders of the Nation’s logistics community. It was established in 2018 with the U.S. Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM). IB2 Log is administered and delivered by the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) in partnership with the faculty of the University of North Carolina (UNC) and select other leading universities with the support of North Carolina companies.

The Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) presented me with the Critical Thinking Award in honor of Governor James E. Martin. Governor Martin served as the IDB Board Chair from December 2003 – December 2016 and is a strong advocate for the defense sector and education that advances innovation, technology and critical thinking in that arena.

This award recognized my ability to think critically while being a leader among her peers and organization.
