Believe in Yourself
Just a few years ago, I convinced myself that I would graduate college, have a stellar career, meet the man of my dreams, and have a good ole Southern Wedding before I turn 25. Well, over the course of the last 8 months I've learned a lot about myself. I've conducted X-Rays on my heart only to find that there are indeed hidden treasures, hurt, and total fear from past experiences. I am learning to accept that life isn't all about my "timelines" and that patience is indeed a virtue... So, in the midst of this journey to becoming my "Best Self," I had to let go of my past and focus on the now and just "let life run it course..." I am encouraged to not live up to the standards of society. Instead, I'll follow the goals, dreams, and passions of my own life.
Do I have all the answers to this thing called... "Life." No.
But, I am enjoying this journey and moving forward in the most optimistic way possible and I must say I'm doing pretty well at this "Adulting."
